Yet despite the uncanny resemblance, Danielle Harris’s 2017 nuptials were far from Prince Harry and Meghan’s royal ceremony.

The 33-year-old married her husband, Wu Olsen, in Arizona with a $49,000 budget — far from the newlyweds’ rumored $42 million big day. Instead of Elton John, the couple danced the night away to a local DJ and invited only 115 guests, in comparison to the royal pair’s 600-strong guest list.

“We had such an elegant and modern wedding,” she said. “It was very, very fun, and I’m not just saying that because I was the bride. Our guests partied into the early hours.”

But she did admittedly envy certain aspects of the St. George’s Chapel ceremony — and who can blame her?

“I wouldn’t change our wedding for the world, but I was really jealous of Meghan’s choir — they were amazing,” she said. “After watching her walk down the aisle I thought that maybe I should have worn a veil too.”

She added: “My dad walked me down the aisle, and that was the perfect moment, but I really admired how Meghan walked almost the whole way by herself.”

But Harris preferred her own wedding dress to the former TV actress’s Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown.

“I got up at 4 a.m. to watch the wedding, and I cried when they said their vows,” she admitted. “Her dress wasn’t my favorite. I preferred my own, but I thought she looked absolutely beautiful.”

Harris was first mistaken for the newly minted duchess four years ago when a friend told her she looked just like Rachel Zane, Meghan’s paralegal alter ego on the hit television series Suits.

“I didn’t think much of it until the past year or so when Meghan and Harry’s relationship became public,” she continued. “If I had $5 for everyone who has said I look like her over the last 12 months, I would be so rich.”

Consequently, Harris has considered launching a career as a professional look-alike, and her husband has even suggested that he will be her manager.

But in the meantime she’s just happy with the confidence boost.

“We’re both mixed race, and I also have freckles like Meghan,” she said. “She’s so beautiful, I think it’s a huge compliment when people tell me we look alike. It makes me laugh.”
