Duchess Kate steps out in magenta to visit the Royal Opera House

Updated

Kate Middleton looked prim and proper on Wednesday morning for a visit to the Royal Opera House in London.

The duchess was all smiles during her visit as she toured the costume department, met with of three Royal Ballet principals and got to sit in on a ballet rehearsal.

For the occasion, the mother-of-three opted to re-wear her magenta skirt suit from Oscar de la Renta. She paired the pleated two-piece with black tights, black heels from Rupert Sanderson and a black Aspinal of London purse. She completed the look with her go-to curled blowout and minimal makeup.

According to a tweet from Kensington Palace, the duchess' trip to the Royal Opera House was to "find out more about the scale of the department’s work and their use of textiles before hearing from @TheRoyalBallet dancers about the design of their costumes."

This was Kate's second event of the week following her morning at King Henry’s Walk Garden on Tuesday where she learned about the gardening at the community space and chatted with a couple of school children.
