And 2019 is off to a bright start!

Duchess Meghan kicked off a week of busy engagements -- and her first joint engagement of 2019 with Prince Harry -- on Monday, arriving in Merseyside's Birkenhead to meet with local organizations and charities.

The mom-to-be made quite an entrance for the occasion, ditching her go-to navy or black ensembles in favor of a bright purple Babaton by Aritzia dress, which she paired with a bright red Sentaler coat, matching red heels and a brown leather bag by designer Gabriela Hearst.

Today's jam-packed royal visit includes a visit to the The Hive, a center for youth with disabilities, and the organization Tomorrow's Women, which supports women in the community and offers support groups for mental health and domestic abuse. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also visited a new sculpture dedicated to poet Wilfred Owen and opened Number 7, a local community cafe which works to eliminate hunger in the area.

While chatting to royal well wishers about name suggestions during a walkabout, Meghan revealed she's 6 months pregnant, due at the end of April. For more on Baby Sussex, watch the video above.
