Best beauty looks from the 2019 Critics' Choice Awards

Sunday night's Critics Choice Awards was a beauty lover's dream come true.

Sure, film fanatics tuned in to see the past year's most noteworthy films be honored -- "Green Book," "Roma," and "If Beale Street Could Talk" all won big -- but the best part of the night for many is the red carpet. And let us say, the 2019 red carpet, which is still one of the first of this year's award season, did *not* disappoint.

Beauty aficionados were treated to some of the most dramatic and beautiful looks yet, especially in the eye department. Charlize Theron's highlighted lids, Janet Mock's metallic smoky eye and Lucy Boynton's '70s inspired lashes took center stage at last night's show. Rachel Brosnahan and Nicole Kidman (with her Kiss lashes), too, were the talk of the town with their sultry eyes.

Meanwhile, Angela Bassett turned up with major curls, as Lady Gaga opted for her go-to Old Hollywood glamour 'do. But it was "Shameless" star Emmy Rossum, with her eccentric hairdo and blood purple lips, that reigned supreme as one of the coolest beauty looks of the night.
