Santa surprises children by repelling down skyscraper to deliver gifts

Instead of sliding down the chimney, some children in Berlin got an unbelievable display as Santa Claus rappelled down the Kollhoff Tower.

The popular tourist destination has made headlines for their annual Christmas hijinks, which, this year, involved Santa's daredevil stunt. According to Reuters, St. Nick accidentally dropped his sack of toys on top of the high-rise. He then strapped into a harness and propelled more than 300 feet down in hopes of getting the gifts to the girls and boys below as quickly as possible.

The whole stunt was caught on camera, including the joyous ending where Santa landed safely and shared his treats with the children waiting for him.

Watch him move story by story to deliver his gifts in a truly unique fashion.
