Melania Trump has a new blonde look and Twitter has thoughts: 'When you're growing your husband a new toupee'

Melania Trump was on FLOTUS duty Wednesday, visiting military families in Virginia before sitting down for a frank interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News.

During their chat, the first lady lashed out at the “opportunists” who she claims are “using my name or my family name to advance themselves.” She also spoke of her relationship with President Trump, acknowledging that they don’t always see eye to eye.

“I follow what’s going on,” Trump said. “And I give my husband advice and my honest opinion. And sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn’t.

“I don’t agree with his tone sometimes, and I tell him that,” she said in response to Hannity noting that the two have “different styles.”

But some on Twitter are commenting that she and her husband have very similar styles — at least when it comes to hair. Viewers couldn’t help but notice that the first lady’s locks have received a blonder makeover, and they’ve got something to say about it. The new look has fetched comparisons to the president and Fox News’s blonde-heavy lineup of hosts.

But don’t expect the ridicule to ruffle this FLOTUS’s feathers.

“I do what I think is right,” she told Hannity. “I know I will get the criticism — from the public or from the media — but I will do what is right and what I feel is right for the country and for the people. That’s why I say I want to stay true to myself and listen to myself and what to do and what is right, what is wrong and live a meaningful life every day.”
