Burger King is giving away free Oreo peppermint milkshakes

Late last month, Burger King launched a new milkshake flavor combining America's favorite cookie and holiday flavor: Oreo peppermint. The Christmas-y drink is most likely inspired by peppermint bark, peppermint mocha, candy canes and other cool peppermint treats of the holiday season. But if you haven't gotten to try it, or you already have and you're a big fan, good news — this week you can get an Oreo Cookie Peppermint Shake for free!

Burger King has partnered up with Postmates, a delivery service, so you don't even have to get up from your couch to try it. To claim your free shake, open up the Postmates app (or download it here), find a BK nearby, and place your order. No coupon codes to copy or any other gimmicks, just free chocolate-y peppermint goodness straight to your door.

The deal takes place now through Dec. 16 at midnight (while supplies last and one per customer, of course). However, if you miss out on the freebie (or if Postmates doesn't deliver in your area), you can still order the Oreo peppermint flavor through the end of the month for around $3.29.

The Oreo Cookie Peppermint Shake mixes vanilla soft serve with Oreo cookie pieces and peppermint syrup, and tops it off with whipped topping. If you're not into mint but always down for Oreos, the fast food chain also has a classic Oreo shake and a chocolate Oreo shake currently on its menu.
