Duchess Kate twins with Duchess Meghan in burgundy coat to visit University College London

Updated

Beautiful in burgundy!

The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the University College of London on Wednesday morning to visit with the university's Psychology and Language Sciences department and speak with the unit's directors to learn about their work's impact with young patients.

During her visit, the mother-of-three also toured the department's new MRI facility and spoke with Dr. Eamon McCrory, who runs the department of Developmental Risk and Resilience.

For the occasion, Duchess Kate recycled a matching burgundy wool blazer and skirt by designer Paule Ka, which she wore over a simple black turtleneck. She complemented her look with a pair of black tights, heels and clutch, and a simple ribbon in her hair.

On Wednesday, Duchess Meghan also stepped out in a matching burgundy look to visit the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen, which supports victims of the Grenfell Tower fire. As demonstrated by the royal sister-in-laws, it seems that this deep red makes for the perfect fall shade. While Kate's look has been sold out, Meghan's all Club Monaco ensemble is still available to shop here.
