Report: Prince William tried to steal Prince Harry's spotlight with a new haircut

Updated

It's normal for families to have drama, but very rarely do we get an inside glimpse into the royal family's escapades. And no matter how truthful or not these reports may be, it's important to remember the sheer amount of pressure and scrutiny the Windsor family is under. For their entire lives. No big deal.

A new royal biography titled "Charles at 70: Thoughts, Hopes and Dreams" is claiming that there is a lot of competition between Prince William and Prince Harry when it comes to the royal spotlight.

The writer of the new biography, Robert Jobson, offers the example of Prince William's buzzcut, which he debuted back in January on the same day Prince Harry and Meghan stepped out in Cardiff when interest in the couple was at its "peak."

"Intriguingly, William—who was also on a royal engagement—chose the same day to display a new and dramatic buzz cut hairstyle," Jobson wrote. "As a result, Harry was not the only royal prince featured in the following day’s papers." The writer also reports that both the palace staff and William's family members find the dad-of-three "difficult" because of his mood swings.

Ah, brotherly love!
