Meghan Markle is a true princess in Oscar de la Renta in Sydney
Following two days in Fiji and two days in Tonga, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued their royal tour of the pacific by returning to Sydney.
And an eventful return it was indeed.
Following a dramatic failed landing, the parents-to-be slipped into their Friday best for the Australian Geographic Society Gala Awards at the famous Shangri-La hotel. Prince Harry chose a casual suit and tie ensemble for the occasion, while Meghan gave off major princess vibes in a beautiful Oscar de la Renta dress.
The intricate black-and-white tulle gown featured equally-as-beautiful bird embellishments by artist Sarah Esmoingt. She complemented the dress from the famed designer's Pre-Fall 2018 collection with a ring from Maison Birks and Aquazzura pumps.
The internet couldn't handle the gorgeous look, with a Twitter user even calling Meghan a "modern Grace Kelly" in the gown.
Meghan's dress reminds me of a modern day Grace Kelly. I suspect it's the look of the tour. pic.twitter.com/Q6fDaZwMFE
