Melania Trump stuns in simple pink dress as she hosts UN reception

It turns out that sweet and simple really can be the way to go.

On Wednesday, Melania Trump hosted a reception for the spouses of visiting world leaders at the United Nations in New York City. Speaking at the reception, the first lady looked beautiful in a pale pink, cap-sleeved dress. She completed her look with white patterned stilettos, simple makeup and easy waves.

At the reception, Melania finally revealed which African countries she would be visiting on her impending visit; the list included the countries of Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt. Her trip alongside USAID will begin on October 1st, and will also mark her first solo international trip as first lady.

"I am so proud of the work this Administration is doing through USAID and others, and look forward to the opportunity to take the message of my Be Best campaign to many of the countries, and children, throughout Africa," the first lady explained.
