NYFW: Calvin Klein looks to 'Jaws' for Spring 2019 collection at New York Fashion Week

Now this is a production Steven Spielberg would be proud of.

Calvin Klein, as designed by creative director Raf Simons, debuted its Spring 2019 collection on Tuesday to a packed house, where A-list stars such as Anne Hathaway, Jeff Goldblum, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anna Wintour, Rami Malek and A$AP Rocky sat front row.

It wasn't *just* a runway, but instead a bloody red carpet of sorts, where industry-favorites Kaia Gerber and Doutzen Kroes strutted down the catwalk. Simons stayed true to the 1975 film's thematic elements: wetsuits, speedos and spandex helped bring it all together. When models weren't wearing latex boots or flats, they were barefoot, instead walking with their shoes in-hand.

Some models even wore Jaws merchandise, while others sported swim caps, wet hair and fresh faces to play on Simon's vision of "tension between land and ocean." Skirts and shirts were left with gaping "bites" and missing fabrics, some decorated with blood stains.

The creative was also influenced by the 1967 film The Graduate. Instead of swim caps, some models sported graduation caps, while others embraced 1960s fashion with printed skirts and oversized sweaters.

Hollywood favorites Laura Dern, Saoirse Ronan, Millie Bobby Brown and Kate Bosworth were also in attendance. Spielberg was not. Scroll through to see all the looks for Calvin Klein Spring 2019.
