Best Bites: Corn on the kebab

Corn on the kebab is healthy and a perfect barbecue side dish. Check out the recipe on this episode of Best Bites!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter, melted

  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon thyme

  • 1 zucchini

  • 4-5 mini peppers

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2 ears corn, shucked

  • 3 skewers

Directions:

  1. Cut corn cobs into smaller pieces. Arrange pieces of corn cobs, peppers, onions and zucchini on skewers.

  2. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Grill kabobs until they begin to brown.

  3. While kebabs are cooking, mix butter, garlic salt, lemon juice, thyme in a small bowl.

  4. Once kebabs are done, top with butter mixture and serve.
