Melania Trump wears $3,950 skirt and Louboutins to plant a tree

Melania Trump is once again trying her hand at gardening!

The first lady, joined by descendants of past presidents, planted a sapling tree from the Eisenhower Oak on the White House grounds on Monday afternoon. For the occasion, she wore a $3,950 Valentino floral skirt paired with a pale pink sleeveless top and matching pale pink Christian Louboutin heels. Her look was completed with a gold shovel that she used during the gardening event.

Given the FLOTUS' formal attire, Twitter users had quite a few things to say. While some loved her springtime look, praising her for wearing her heels in the garden...

Others didn't care much for her dressed up ensemble.

The first lady also wore the outfit earlier in the day to welcome the president and first lady of Kenya to the White House alongside President Trump. Melania tweeted that she and the first lady of Kenya spent timing "discussing our shared concerns for children."
