Prince Harry wore a pair of shoes with holes in it to friend's wedding -- and Twitter is freaking out

It seems like Meghan Markle wasn't the only royal to suffer a wardrobe mishap this weekend. Prince Harry, too, has sent the internet reeling over the apparent hole in the shoes he sported to his friend's wedding, where he gave a speech as best man.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out in Surrey, England on Saturday to celebrate the marriage of Harry's childhood friend Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenkins. Joined by cousins Princess Eugenie and fiancé Jack Brooksbank, the newlyweds looked every bit in love as they made their way from the reception hand-in-hand.

However, that moment was quickly overshadowed as eagle-eyed Twitter users noticed Meghan's bra slip and the 'gapping' condition of Harry's footwear. Twitter had a field day over the soles of Harry's shoes.

"That's why he's the "People's Prince!" wrote one Twitter user. "Why is anyone shocked? He is a man afterall, and they are often loathe to toss anything that looks alright on the surface...," joked another. One Downton Abbey fan reminded us that the snafu would never happen in Mr. Carson's day, while others offered to send donations to Kensington Palace to help Prince Harry afford a new pair.

It seems like nothing can get past these sharp royal fans!
