Melania Trump heads to Europe in $795 Paris-print Louboutin heels

And they’re off!

President Trump and the first lady are flying to Europe for a weeklong trip that will include stops in Brussels (for the NATO Summit), London (for meetings with British Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth), Helsinki (for talks with Vladimir Putin), and Scotland (for, it’s rumored, golf).

Melania Trump appeared to be in a Europe state of mind — sartorially, at least — as she left the White House and boarded Marine One to kick off the journey.

Her midlength khaki skirt, by Paris-based designer Martin Grant, was paired with a cherry-red sweater. The belted number is currently on sale for $439, down from its original price of $975.

But nothing says “Europe, here I come” like a pair of Christian Louboutin heels literally stamped with the word “Paris.” Though she’s no stranger to a red-soled Louboutin, the first lady’s modeling of the designer’s So Kate logo-print PVC pumps — yours for $795 — felt especially bold. Pity she’s not actually going to Paris this time around.
