First family experienced slight snafu on Inauguration Day, new tell-all book reveals

President Trump's Inauguration Day was memorable in more ways than one -- from Melania Trump's iconic Ralph Lauren look to Barron Trump's cuteness. But according to a newly released book "Born Trump: Inside America’s Family," there's one detail that was kept under wraps.

The first family's motorcade was held up on Inauguration Day for a completely relatable reason: Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner couldn't get an infant car seat to fit in their armored car. And with a strict Inauguration Day schedule, with no stone unturned when it came to details, it comes as a complete surprise that this simple logistical detail was overlooked.

Despite the slight hiccup, the day went off without a hitch. While Melania gave us Jackie-O vibes in her powder blue ensemble, businesswoman Ivanka opted for a cream pantsuit. Hillary Clinton also went for a pantsuit designed by Ralph Lauren.

The new tell-all book that was written by Vanity Fair senior reporter Emily Jane Fox also delves deeper into the lives of the Trump children -- from Ivana Trump's parenting style to Ivanka's modeling career.
