As was expected with any awards show, beauty reigned supreme at this year's Tony Awards. And mix in enough glitz and glam to make it on Broadway, and you've got yourself quite the red carpet.
Live from New York City's Radio City Music Hall, multi-talented stars such as Kerry Washington, Sara Bareilles and Claire Danes took the red carpet to much beauty acclaim. Washington stunned with a sleek straight 'do and subtle smokey eye, which perfectly complemented her silver dress.
Bareilles, one of the night's co-hosts, wowed with loose, side-swept waves and a bit of gloss while pregnant Danes opted for a simple updo and dramatic eyeliner.
But it was Carey Mulligan who stole the show in a vintage-inspired look. The actress, decked out in a long-sleeved pink and yellow floral gown by Giambattista Valli, looked every bit spring-ready in a flipped bob and stage-worthy fuchsia lip. The British actress presented the award of "Best Featured Actress" to Laurie Metcalf for her work in Three Tall Women.
