Man finds cat who just gave birth under his bed -- and his tweets are going viral
Paris Zarcilla has recently found himself new dad to four kittens and one mama cat -- and the hilarious story is going viral.
Here's what we know: the London Filmmaker went into his room to grab a sweater, and found the new family just chilling under his bed. Zarcilla didn't explain how he thinks the cats entered his flat, but apparently he just found the black and white feline nursing her four babies.
And what a saga it's been.
So... I JUST FOUND A CAT THAT IS NOT MINE AND IT HAS HAD BABIES UNDER MY BED. pic.twitter.com/83ktBHGgT5

Zarcilla took the discovery better than most of us would. "So... I JUST FOUND A CAT THAT IS NOT MINE AND IT HAS HAD BABIES UNDER MY BED," he wrote next to the photo of the cat, before following up with more of his thoughts.
Cancelling all my plans. Crawling under the bed to spend the rest of the day with my four new children. #newdad

"Am I a Dad now?" he wrote. Apparently, Paris is, and has since been taking on this new responsibility like a champ, including buying food and snuggling with the kittens.
I am living for these babies.
Any work commitments I have are now temporarily on hold. Sorry I'm a dad now.— Paris Zarcilla (@ParisZarcilla) May 30, 2018
Just cancelled my order for comics and single malt whiskey. Now buying cat food. This is fatherhood yo! I'm here for this pic.twitter.com/dGU6JkcejE

I feel like the veil of the universe is being lifted slightly. Like, I feel high. Is this what it feels like to have a child? I think I'm falling in love. Fuck. pic.twitter.com/0ObNMNt4vC

The love he has is real:
"This is too much. I'm approaching nirvana. I legitimately suffer from anxiety attacks and depression and my capacity to deal with it recently has been waning. The Cat Gods have smiled upon me with benevolence and turned the monsters under my bed into kittens," Paris wrote, scattering in #catdad here and there.
I think I'm living the best day of my life. Wait, no. Actually fuck it yes I am. This is the best :') pic.twitter.com/1P4eryHLyw

I have run the gamut of human emotion today. Unexpectedly discovered more than kittens but also the hidden depths of my own capacity to love. Cat Twitter, thank you. You've been a wonderful source of support. My brain has divided by 0 so #CatDad must sleep. More tmrw. Much love x pic.twitter.com/4Zj4biyIRd

He wrote of this awakening: "I have run the gamut of human emotion today. Unexpectedly discovered more than kittens but also the hidden depths of my own capacity to love." Paris followed up with an update from "Cat Protection," which is requiring him to keep the mom and babies together for another few weeks.
And while Paris briefly considers calling a rescue to see if the cat belongs to someone, his "moral compass" is ruined.
"This may be someone's cat and I don't want to take away this joy from anybody. But my dad instincts have kicked in so hard. Fuck. I want this," he wrote. Looks like he's keeping them!
All hail. Long live this Queen. pic.twitter.com/KLzKGptCfx
