Billboard Music Awards 2018: Best of beauty

It may be because it's almost summer -- and it may be all the glitz and glam that goes with any kind of Las Vegas event -- but the 2018 Billboard Music Awards saw its fair share of bold and risk-taking beauty looks on Sunday night's red carpet. Our favorite singers and songwriters took the awards show in the blazing desert heat, bringing the best looks their glam squad had to offer.

And boy, did they deliver some serious summer beauty inspiration. Dua Lipa rocked a deep and slick side part, while we couldn't help but gape over Ciara's voluminous curls and gold shadow. Meanwhile, Janet Jackson perfected the top knot, Jenna Dewan stunned in a sleek smoky eye and Demi Lovato's highlighter and defined cheekbone combo put ours to shame.

Our top beauty contender of the night? Jennifer Lopez, whose rocker-style bob, bronzed cheeks and cherry shadow perfectly complemented her dark-hued ensemble. The singer later took the stage to perform her new single "Dinero" in a three-piece white suit, tucking her fierce cut behind a low-sitting hat and adding a bold lip.
