'Most beautiful girl in the world' Thylane Blondeau steals the show at Cannes

Updated

Cannes 2018 has officially kicked off, with the world's most accomplished filmmakers and stars making their way to the south of France for the annual event.

Also in attendance was the 17-year-old deemed 'the most beautiful girl in the world.' Thylane Blondeau was only four years old when she got her start in the modeling world while walking for Jean Paul Gaultier, swiftly garnering attention for her piercing blue eyes and blond locks.

Two years later the French beauty graced the pages of Vogue and became a worldwide sensation, earning her the title as 'the most beautiful girl in the world.' And while she kept a low-profile growing up, Thylane recently re-entered the fashion world, beginning at London Fashion Week, and now at the Cannes Film Festival.

For the red carpet premiere of Sorry Angel, the model donned a black ball gown with a volumized skirt. She accessorized the statement-making strapless gown with a silver necklace and smoky eyeshadow, no doubt making her one of the most dramatic looks of the night.
