Alison Sweeney's complete style transformation

Any fan of daytime television knows the name Alison Sweeney. Sweeney is a household name in the television world, best known for playing Samantha Brady on the popular NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives.

Her role on Days for twenty years earned her multiple Soap Opera Digest Awards and a Daytime Emmy Award -- but Sweeney has also ventured into the publishing world, with her three books, and signed on as host of 'The Biggest Loser' until 2015.

We've gotten to know Sweeney a bit through her three-decade career and watched as she blossomed from young soap star to a Hollywood favorite.

One of our favorite looks on the star? A gold metallic dress she sported to the 2013 People's Choice Awards, at which she was a presenter. Whereas the star was frequently spotted in A-line dresses or blouses and jeans, the figure-hugging gown was a big style shake-up, a risk she totally rocked.
