Best Bites: Breakfast in a blanket

Breakfast is the way to start off the day! Try these delicious and easy to make "breakfast in a blanket" rolls in this week's episode of Best Bites!


  • 8 large eggs
  • Salt 
  • Pepper 
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar 


  1. Preheat the oven to 375º. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Melt the butter in a large skilled, and add the eggs and chives. Scramble. 
  2. Lightly flour the surface you’ll be working on, and roll out the crescent rolls. Top them with strips of the cooked bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese. 
  3. Tightly roll the crescent rolls and transfer onto a baking sheet. 
  4. Bake them for about 14 minutes or until golden brown.
