Updated

We've finally met our Prince Charming.

Jeffrey Kendall has become an internet sensation following his 70-pound weight-loss -- and now, people can't stop comparing him to a Disney prince.

The 26-year-old aspiring model revealed to Best Life that his issues with confidence and depression happened when he moved back home to help care for his ill mother. “Looking at myself at the time, I was in a long-running battle with self-image and depression,” he said.

When a friend approached him to become his gym buddy, Kendall "started off small" with exercises.

"The process was slow and steady. I started with doing pushups and going for walks. The walks became jogs and soon I found workouts on YouTube to add to my routine," he said to Buzzfeed. "I adjusted my diet and counted calories. I tried to live a life of moderation and hold myself in a manner of the person I wanted to be."

70 pounds down, Kendall posted a photo of his transformation to Reddit, where it quickly went viral. "I've lost a lot of weight, a lot of sadness, and a little facial hair. I've gained a whole new appreciation for life. Remember to always love yourself," he captioned the photo.

Users were quick to compare him to a Disney prince (and compliment those locks). "Now you look like a Prince from a disney film," said one user. Explained another, "That was the first thing I thought of: transformation in Beauty and the Beast. Serious props."

Kendall concluded about his transformation, "I hope people will find love for each other in this ever-growing divisive world. My plan is to continue the pursuit of happiness."
