Best Bites: Garlic herb cheddar fondue

There’s nothing cheesy about this decadent garlic herb cheddar fondue. Grab your appetite and dig into this week’s episode of Best Bites!

Ingredients:

  • 11 oz shredded cheddar cheese

  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour

  • 1 cup of beer

  • 4 tsp chopped garlic

  • 6 tbsp Green Goddess sauce

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • Pretzels

  • Candied Walnuts

  • Broccoli

  • Potatoes

  • Brussel Sprouts

Recipe:

  1. Toss the cheese with the flour in a bowl.

  2. Place a metal bowl over a saucepan filled with 2 inches of water (or use a double boiler).

  3. Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

  4. Reduce the heat to medium and pour the beer in the bowl.

  5. Stir in the garlic using a fork.

  6. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.

  7. Add half the cheese and cook until the cheese is melted, stirring constantly.

  8. Add the remaining cheese a small amount at a time, stirring constantly in a circular motion after each addition until the cheese is melted.

  9. Fold in the Green Goddess Sauce.

  10. Pour into a warm fondue pot and keep warm over low heat.

  11. Serve with pretzels, broccoli, potatoes and brussel sprouts!
