Amal Clooney is the queen of spring street style

Updated

When she isn't marching for gun control, spearheading the latest international human rights campaign or raising her two newborns with husband George, Amal Clooney can also be seen taking over the streets of New York City, where she currently resides as a visiting professor at Columbia University School of Law. No big deal.

It's been quite a season for the 40-year-old's street style game. In the past two weeks alone, Clooney has been spotted putting on a sartorial show of the most colorful, chic and on-trend variety. We've seen her rocking a unique Alexander Wang trench, straight from the runway emerald green Michael Kors' coat and glossy taupe outerwear by Diane Von Furstenberg.

Clooney has seemed to master her spring street style look, which includes a colorful tailored overcoat paired with more subdued patterns.

Our two favorites? A powder blue (aka the color of the season) double-breasted ensemble that emitted major 60s Jackie O vibes, and most recently, a mustard yellow overcoat she donned for date night with her husband. The bright lemon look from Lanvin isn't available right now, but her chic look inspired us to be on the lookout for some affordable options.

The lawyer is currently in New York City for her latest high-profile case, where she's working to free two Reuters journalists being held in Myanmar. More on that in the video above.
