Lucy Hale reveals the one long-held fashion faux pas she actually really 'loves'

Celebrities and wardrobe mishaps on the red carpet go hand in hand. After years of walking red carpets, however, "Life Sentence" star Lucy Hale is a total pro at handling any unfortunate clothing mishap that she encounters.

Her best advice for dealing with a wardrobe malfunction?

"If it does happen, the best way to go about it is to have a good sense of humor about it," Hale told AOL Lifestyle. "The best way to is just to embrace it. I'm sure I’ve been photographed a million times with something wrong with my outfit."

And if you take a quick look at her Instagram feed, you can instantly tell the actress knows fashion. So when she revealed the one long-held fashion faux pas that actually shouldn't be one -- re-wearing outfits -- of course we wanted to hear more.

"I’m a big believer that if you love something, you should wear it as many times as you want," Hale said.

She added: "For me, it’s dressing up and dressing down really cool pieces. A leather jacket can go with a dress or jeans and a T-shirt. Accessories can also do a lot!"

Degree gave the former "Pretty Little Liars" star the ultimate challenge -- to re-wear one of her favorite looks in her closet for two separate occasions. Challenge accepted.

The brunette beauty stepped out in NYC in an edgy keyhole bodysuit that she paired with high-waisted grey trousers. Later in the week, she wore the same keyhole top at SXSW -- this time, with a dreamy floral skirt that gave off Bohemian vibes.

With all of her upcoming projects, there's no doubt we're going to be seeing much more of the actress on the red carpet. One of her must-haves for red carpet season? The perfect deodorant that shows absolutely no white marks. Lucy recently partnered with Degree for the brand's new UltraClear Black+White deodorant collection -- and it's clear the collaboration was a match made in heaven.

"I’ve always been a Degree girl so it felt natural to talk about something I actually use and like," Hale said.

And when she's not figuring out stylish ways to re-style her favorite closet staples, the star is busy with all the projects on her plate. On top of "Life Sentence," Hale's new film "The Unicorn" just premiered at SXSW. What can we expect from Lucy in the future? Well, even she doesn't know, but the sky is the limit!

"That’s the great thing about acting, there are so many stories to tell and so many characters to play, I want to keep learning all I can and keep on doing all I can."
