Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett reveal they both get 'penis facials'

Hollywood has seen its fair share of utterly bizarre beauty trends, from vampire facials to wine baths. But there's a new trend that tops all that -- thanks to its NSFW name.

In an interview with Vogue Australia, "Ocean's 8" stars Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock revealed that they both got a "penis facial" while in New York City last year. You might be wondering ... what exactly is "penis facial"?

"Sandy [Sandra] Bullock and I saw this facialist in New York, Georgia Louise, and she gives what we call the penis facial and it’s something -- I don’t know what it is, or whether it’s just cause it smells a bit like sperm -- there’s some enzyme in it so Sandy refers to it as the penis facial," Blanchett said.

But to put all raunchy thoughts to rest, it's not that kind of facial you're thinking of. The facial, which is actually called the "EFG Hollywood Facial," is derived from cells from the removed foreskin of newborn Korean babies.

Louise revealed how exactly this $650, one-of-a-kind facial works on her website:

"The facial includes a cleanse, followed by an intensive TCA peel, micro-needling machine and an electrifying mask to calm the skin, followed by her ‘secret box’ of EGF serum (Epidermal Growth Factor). EGF is derived from the progenitor cells of the human fibroblast taken from Korean newborn baby foreskin – which helps to generate collagen and elastin. FDA approved stem cells and peptides are penetrated deep into the skin using a special electric micro- needling wand. This process allows the active ingredients to be transported deep in the skin by creating temporary micro- channel."

In an interview with People, Louise revealed that Bullock came in for a facial while filming "Ocean's 8" in NYC last year. The actress wanted a deep-cleansing facial that would give her glowing skin.

"I wanted to give her something that would transform her skin without the need to undergo lasers, so I loaded up her bespoke facial with something that would give her long-lasting results," Louise said. "Within weeks her make-up artist, Whitney, and castmates wanted to know the cause of her amazing, glowing skin ... and from that moment onwards the Hollywood EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) Facial was born!"

Well, based on what we've seen of "Ocean's 8" thus far, we can't deny how flawless everyone's skin looks! If you had an extra $650 lying around, would you try the "penis facial" out for yourself?
