Duchess Kate braves the snowy weather, flaunts baby bump in Orla Kiely floral frock

Updated

A bare-legged Duchess Kate braved the frigid temps on Wednesday night, looking totally glam as she was treated to a sneak peek of an exhibition she helped curate at the National Portrait Gallery.

The 36-year-old royal was photographed hopping out of her vehicle in a floral frock by Orla Kiely that showed off her lean legs and blossoming baby bump. The expectant mother is due in April with baby No. 3, but the gender of her new bundle of joy has yet to be revealed.

She completed the look with a pair of blush-hued stilettos, her favorite Kiki McDonough earrings and a Jimmy Choo clutch embellished with glittery accents.

Her snowy evening outing comes after she joined her Prince William, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on stage at the inaugural Royal Foundation Forum. Meghan and Kate both made headlines for their ensembles, with the two wearing Jason Wu and Seraphine, respectively.

Kate, who has been the gallery's patron since 2012, was tasked with selecting images for the exhibition "Victorian Giants: The Birth of Art Photography" and writing captions that'll be featured alongside her picks.

She also wrote the foreword in the exhibition catalog, writing: "As a Patron of the National Gallery, and an enthusiastic amateur photographer, I am delighted to support Victorian Giants."

Kate continued: "This captivating book and the accompanying exhibition bring together works by Julia Margaret Cameron, Lewis Carroll, Oscar Rejlander and Clementina Hawarden for the first time, to explore the birth of art photography in England."

The mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte is an avid photographer herself, having taken photos of her family's milestone events.

Most recently, Kate took snapshots of Princess Charlotte during her first day of school!
