Pregnant Duchess Kate stuns in blue to promote women's health in London

Beautiful in blue!

Duchess Kate stepped out Tuesday morning in Marylebone, London, to visit the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and promote women's health. Just hours before, Kensington Palace announced that the pregnant royal had become RCOG's newest patron.

The college has been around since 1929. Prior, the patronage was held by the Queen Mother.

Kate was onsite to learn about the college's global health programs, which is aimed at reducing maternal and newborn fatalities. The program also features a maternal mental health component, of which Kate is a staunch advocate.

"Nothing can really prepare you for you the sheer overwhelming experience of what it means to become a mother. It is full of complex emotions of joy, exhaustion, love, and worry, all mixed together,” she said in a speech last year about why it's important to support new moms.

For the outing, the Duchess stepped out in a bright blue Jenny Packham coat and a matching royal blue dress. She polished off her chic look with a Stuart Weitzman clutch and navy Jimmy Choo pumps, showing off her long legs. Her G. Collins & Sons earrings paired perfectly with her outfit, nearly matching her engagement ring to a tee.

Packham has long been a go-to designer for Kate, who has opted for her looks throughout her three pregnancies. Most recently, the Duchess stunned in a forest green Jenny Packham gown at the 2018 BAFTAs, an ensemble which featured a subtle nod to feminism and the suffragette movement.
