Prince Harry gets a new job -- and Queen Elizabeth approves!

In addition to being a prince and escorting around his lady love, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry now has a new role with the Commonwealth to make the group "relevant to a younger generation."

Prince Harry will begin his new role in April at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting.

His grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, became the head of the group at her coronation, but there is some question as to whether the role will pass down to her son Prince Charles. Unlike the crown, it is not part of his birthright.

The Commonwealth includes 53 sovereign nations, most of which were once a part of the British Empire. The group includes around 2.4 billion people.

The Director of the Institute of Commonwealth Studies , Dr. Sue Onlow, told the Sunday Times: "It's a very astute move giving Prince Harry a non-political, global role, drawing on his charisma and energy to help keep the Commonwealth and its headship relevant to a younger generation."

I’m also guessing his celebrity wife will play an integral role in his appeal to the younger generation.
