NYFW: Jill Stuart's Fall 2018 Collection was made for the ultimate cool-girl

Updated

Hosted at the ornate National Arts Club in New York City, Jill Stuart presented her Fall 2018 Collection in a completely immersive setting.

The models that were showcasing Stuart's latest line didn't walk down a runway or stand on a platform in the center of a gallery space, but instead played backgammon, dealt playing cards, and drank champagne at the wooden bar alongside the audience in a distinctly mesmerizing space. Sophie Curtis -- Jill Stuart's daughter -- was among the beautiful models.

The moody collection was full of brocade fabrics, rich textures and (our personal favorite) velvet hair bows. According the Stuart this was, "a liberating collection inspired by individuality and women’s ability to express themselves through art and creativity, and their own personal sense of style."

From corduroy suits to floral trenches and ruffled hems, we can easily see all of these outfits being worn by every It-girl come this fall. The designer's favorite look? Stuart told AOL, “My favorite is the look on Dalma, the mint blouse, brocade bustier with velvet corset belt and pants. The silhouette is fresh and I love the mix of all the colors and textures.” See all of the looks -- including her favorite -- in the gallery above!
