NYFW: Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber steal the show at Alexander Wang's Fall 2018 show

Updated

If you recall, Alexander Wang caused quite a stir when he unveiled his Spring 2018 collection on a dead-end block in Brooklyn last September. He didn't fail to make headlines, yet again, with the unveiling of his Fall 2018 collection.

The location? Four Times Square -- the old HQ of Condé Nast. Wang got his start in fashion as an intern at Teen Vogue and Vogue, so the 21st-floor location of his New York Fashion Week show no doubt bittersweet for the designer extraordinaire.

The AWG -- Alexander Wang Gang -- looked fierce as ever as they hit the runway. Fashion industry darlings, Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber, were just some of the highlights of the show. Matrix-like sunglasses, body-con dresses and spiked heels filled the runway as the audience gasped with the ooh's and aah's.

While we're used to seeing Wang's runways filled with ensembles for the perfect night of partying, this collection represents a different Wang.

"I'm blessed and honored to work with such incredible, smart, powerful women," he said. "It felt timely to do a collection that reflects a different part of my life, everyone knows the partying me, but I actually go to work more than I party."

And while we wouldn't classify Wang's Fall 2018 collection as office-appropriate, a girl can dream, right?
