A vision in white!

Melania Trump entered the House of Representatives Chamber on Tuesday night for President Trump's State of the Union Address in an all-white pantsuit. The first lady dazzled in a white wide-leg pantsuit from Dior with a silk Dolce & Gabanna blouse and her signature Christian Louboutin stilettos as she received a standing ovation from the crowd.

Melania's polished ensemble was a bold choice considering many members of Congress decided to wear black in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and harassment.

Of course, theories about the meaning behind Melania's look ignited on social media, with some pointing out that the color has recently been associated with the #MeToo movement. Stars -- from Lady Gaga to Miley Cyrus -- carried white roses on the red carpet in support of the movement at the Grammys this past weekend. Historically, the color has been the color of the women's suffrage movement.

And while her business attire is a departure from her chic and feminine styles, Melania has been known to step out on rare occasions in chic suits. At the Invictus Games last September, the former model donned a houndstooth Dior suit to meet Prince Harry.

Just weeks before, she donned a Calvin Klein suit for an appearance at the UN General Assembly.
