Black cats are not getting adopted because they look bad in selfies

Nobody wants these black cats -- and it's not because people are superstitious that they would be "bad luck."

It's because the cats don’t look good in selfies. That’s what a rehoming center founder in the U.K. says.

She says the cats get rejected because people think the darker cats don't photograph well. "It’s a very narcissistic use of social media," she says.

The rehoming center has people requesting cats that are "not black."

The organization wants people to get their black cats spayed or neutered.
