14 Valentine's Day cocktails you'll fall in love with

That's amore! 

Whether you're spending Valentine's Day with your significant other or your best gal pals, there's no better way to celebrate the holiday of love than by whipping up some delicious drinks.

From a sweet champagne drink complete with raspberry liquor to a pretty-in-pink gin cocktail infused with lavender, you'll be guaranteed to fall in love as you sip on these irresistible concoctions.

Ültra Violet Rain

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Jägermeister and Red Brussel Sprout Extract
  • 1 oz Champagne
  • ½ oz Vodka
  • ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Ginger Syrup

Method:

  1. Build lemon juice, ginger syrup and vodka into shaker.
  2. Shake and strain into coupe glass.
  3. Top with champagne.
  4. Float Jägermeister and red Brussel sprout extract on the top of the drink.
  5. When combined with the citrus, the extract changes from blue to ultraviolet.

Red Brussel sprout and Jägermeister Extract:

  1. In a pan, place two lbs of red Brussels sprouts and 100 mL of water and cook on high for 15 minutes.
  2. After 15 minutes, place into another container and top with saran wrap. Let sit for a half hour.
  3. After half hour, strain out the water.
  4. Add one tablespoon of baking soda and that will turn the water from purple to blue.
  5. Add 80 mL of water mix with 40 mL of Jägermeister.
  6. Put the container in the freezer.

Basil Cranberry Fix

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Jägermeister
  • 1 part Bourbon
  • ¾ part Lemon Juice
  • 6-8 Aromatic Mint & Basil Leaves Muddled
  • 4-5 Cranberries
  • ¾ part Spiced Simple Syrup
  • Glass: Frozen 11 oz Old Fashioned Glass
  • Ice: Crushed ice
  • Garnish: Mint Sprig/Cranberries & Powdered Sugar

Method:

  1. Muddle mint and basil leaves in a rocks glass and add ice.
  2. In a separate glass combine Jägermeister, Bourbon, Lemon Juice, and Spiced Simple Syrup.
  3. Shake and strain over muddled mint and basil leaves.
  4. Garnish with a mint sprig, cranberries and powdered sugar.

Love of a Lifethyme

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Patrón Silver
  • .5 oz lemon juice
  • .25 oz pomegranate syrup
  • .25 oz honey
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • Prosecco
  • Absinthe

Method:

  1. Shake first five ingredients with ice.
  2. Then strain into an absinthe-rinsed coupe, top with a float of Prosecco and garnish with a fresh thyme sprig.
Rosa is Red

Ingredients:

  • 5 oz. Rosa Regale
  • 1 oz. London Dry Gin
  • ¾ oz. Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. Lavender simple syrup*
  • ½ oz. Blood orange juice
  • 1 Strawberry, sliced
  • 1 Orange peel, to garnish

Method:

  1. Combine gin, lemon, blood orange and lavender simple syrup into shaking tin and fill halfway with ice.
  2. Shake for 2 seconds and strain into a wine glass with ice.
  3. Top wine glass with Rosa Regale. Drop strawberries into glass and garnish with orange peel.
  4. *Lavender Simple Syrup: Bring one cup of water to a boil with 1 tablespoon lavender sprigs. Add 1 cup of sugar and stir until dissolved. Take off heat and let cool. Strain out lavender and refrigerate up to one week.

NOLET’S Silver Red Red Rose(mary)

Ingredients:

  • 1.25 oz. NOLET’S Silver Dry Gin
  • .75 oz. Meyer Lemon Syrup
  • 1oz. Meyer Lemon Juice
  • Raspberries and Rosemary

Method:

  1. Pour ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Shake well. Strain into a coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and fresh raspberries.

Ever Thine, Ever Mine

Ingredients:

  • 1.5oz Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur
  • .75oz Pama Liqueur
  • 1.5oz Koskenkorva Vodka

Method:

  1. Pour in a coupe glass and garnish with raspberries.

Breakfast in Bed

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Carpano Antica Formula
  • 0.75 oz Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 tsp. Brancamenta
  • 1 barspoon Orange Marmalade

Method:

  1. Shake, strain
  2. Double rocks glass with crushed ice
  3. Garnish with a lavish mint bouquet

Diamond District

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Sancho Infused Wild Turkey 101 Rye
  • 2 oz Carpano Antica Formula
  • 2 dashes Scrappy’s Lime Bitters

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to the mixing glass, stir and strain into a chilled coup, garnish with a lemon twist.

Sunday Morning Hues

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Crème Yvette
  • 1 oz Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 1 oz Caffè Borghetti
  • 1 oz Espresso
  • 1 oz Mascarpone

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients except mascarpone with ice in an Irish Coffee mug.
  2. Top with mascarpone cheese and garnish with an orchid

Night Cap

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
  • 0.5 oz. Caffè Borghetti
  • 1 freshly brewed espresso shot
  • Chocolate shavings or coffee beans

Method:

  1. Pour Crystal Head, coffee liqueur and espresso into a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously to create froth then strain into a martini glass.
  3. Garnish with chocolate shavings or finely crushed coffee beans.

Korbel Ruby Rose

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz. Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur
  • 2 oz. cranberry juice
  • 4 oz. Korbel Brut Rosé
  • Strawberry Slice
  • Raspberries

Method:

  1. Pour Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur and cranberry juice into a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake and strain into a wine glass.
  3. Top with Korbel. Garnish with a strawberry slice or raspberry.

Rose For A Rose

Ingredients:

  • 1.25 oz. Tanqueray No. TEN
  • ½ teaspoon Rose Water
  • 3 oz. Fever-tree Elderflower Tonic

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients into a copa glass filled with crushed ice.
  2. Garnish: Rose petals, raspberries and strawberries

Rose Quartz

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Tequila Don Julio Blanco Infused with Goji Berry and Rose Petals*
  • 8 oz. Sparkling Mineral Water
  • 1 small dash Rose Water
  • Rose Petals and Goji Berry Dust for Garnish

Method:

  1. Add infused Tequila Don Julio Blanco and Rose Water to the Highball Glass and stir.
  2. Add ice to a Collins glass.
  3. Add the Sparkling water to the glass.
  4. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients together.
  5. Garnish: Rose Petal and a pinch of Goji Berry Dust.

* Infusion Details:  Add one 750ml bottle of Tequila Don Julio Blanco, 6-8 Food Grade Rose Petals and 2 oz. of Goji Berries to a covered container, let sit in a cool place for between 2 days and a week.

Cherry Crush

Ingredients:

  • 1.25  oz. Johnnie Walker Red Label
  • 1/4  oz.  Maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 oz.  lemon juice
  • 1 ½ oz. fig puree*

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake and double stain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
  2. Garnish: slice of a fig and a sage leaf
  3. *Ginger-Fig Sage Puree : Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add ginger, sage and figs bring to a simmer. Remove from heat, strain the herbs and let steep 30 minutes.  Strain the ginger and into a blender. 

Hibiscus Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore
  • Whole hibiscus flowers, packed in syrup
  • 8 tsps of hibiscus syrup used to pack the flowers

Directions:

  1. Place a whole hibiscus flower in the bottom of glass.
  2. Fill glass with Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore to ¾” of the rim.
  3. Carefully spoon 2 tsps of the hibiscus syrup down the interior side of each glass.
