The royal, who turned 36 on Tuesday, has some low-key plans for her special day. 

"The Duchess will be having a quiet birthday at home with her family," a source told Us Weekly

Another source told the Daily Star: "She is not drinking any alcohol and she is being careful with her food too. It will be quite a low key party."

Duchess Kate's 35th year was certainly one to remember, with major milestones such as the announcement of her third pregnancy and Prince George and Princess Charlotte's first day of school.
