Duchess Kate's interaction with 7-year-old boy goes viral

Duchess Kate definitely steals the show in any room she walks into it ... but she's finally met her match.

The 35-year-old royal visited the Rugby Portobello Trust in London on Tuesday to hand out Christmas gifts to children, including 7-year-old Yahya Hussein Ali.

Yahya, one of the children affected by the Grenfell Tower fire in June, had the most hilarious interaction with the Duchess of Cambridge, proving to the world that he may just be coolest 7 year old ever.

The young student couldn't help but take advantage of his five seconds of fame by flashing a peace sign in front of the cameras as Kate is about to kneel down to have a conversation with him. Seemingly overcome by his gesture, the royal backed off and let Yahya have his moment in the spotlight.

For the event, Kate looked perfect in a plum Seraphine maternity coat she previously wore in 2014 when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte. She polished off the look with black tights and pumps of the same hue.

Last week, Kate and husband Prince William were recognized for their philanthropic efforts with the Blue Peter award.

They followed in the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth, who was awarded the program's highest award during her Golden Jubilee year in 2002.

In an interview with BBC to accept the award, Kate and William turned heads with some rare PDA. You can watch the moment here.
