Holiday Heroes: Hanukkah in NYC

In this week's episode of Holiday Heroes, we're spending some time with Dorot, a New York City-based organization that provides various services for the elderly.

Hoping to bring both the older and younger generations together, families visit the homes of the elderly, who are especially lonely during Hanukah and the rest of the holiday season. Explains teenager Mason Sklar, who enjoys playing chess, spending time and hearing stories from his elderly friends, the project builds a sense of community and helps "pass on the Jewish tradition."
