Meghan Markle made her first official royal engagement in a look fit for a princess!

The American actress and Prince Harry arrived at a World AIDS Day charity fair with a massive crowd eagerly waiting for them. Meghan donned a Mackage navy, double-breasted wool coat, Joseph camel skirt and Kurt Geiger suede boots. She accessorized her look with a merlot-hued mini tote from Lane Crawford.

The royal couple mixed and mingled with the crowd, exchanging a countless number of handshakes, hugs and high-fives. They even received presents from the crowd, like flowers and bags of Haribo gummy candies (Prince Harry's favorite).

"Hi, I'm Meghan," the star was overheard saying to a group of people.

"I'm so happy," she also said at one point. "It's just a thrill to be here. I can't believe it."

Meghan and Harry looked totally in love as they made their way through the crowd. She was seen resting her hand on Harry's back repeatedly, a loving sign of affection we saw from Markle when they made their debut as an engaged couple.

They spent about 30 minutes speaking to the crowd and then made their way inside the venue. They left shortly after for another engagement at a school.

Their World AIDS Day appearance caps off a whirlwind week that began when they announced their engagement on Monday. For their debut as an engaged couple, Meghan donned a Line the Label cream wrap coat over a black dress by P.A.R.O.S.H. The coat sold out immediately online, which is no surprise given the phenomenon dubbed the "Meghan Markle effect."

Meghan's engagement ring, however, was all that anyone could talk about. The dazzler was designed by Prince Harry himself and includes two stones from Princess Diana's personal collection.

According to Kensington Palace, the couple will wed in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018. According to royal expert Kate Nicholl, Prince Philip, Harry's grandfather, is the reason behind both the timing and venue for the wedding.

"One of the reasons that Prince Harry has wanted this wedding to happen quite quickly -- this is really whirlwind by royal standards -- is because his 96-year-old grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, is retired now and Prince Harry really wants him to be at his wedding,” Nicholl said. “He's incredibly close to his grandfather and, being 96, Harry thought it was it was a great thing to [have] the wedding sooner rather than later, so his grandfather could be there, fit and healthy.”
