The top baby names of 2017 revealed

When it comes to baby names in 2017, many parents believe classic is the way to go. Others seem to look to the British monarchy, some to Game of Thrones and a handful to the Kardashians.

Baby Center has released its list of top 100 baby names for 2017, and let us just say, we were not surprised at all by the monikers the list comprised of. For the first time in the most recent years, names such as Amelia, Grayson and Logan have made it to the top 10.

To create their list, Baby Center looks to half a million submissions from parents around the web who have shared their baby's name this year.

For the eighth year in a row, Sophia takes the reign as the number one girl's name. Other incredible performers include Luna and Mateo, who were hailed as the "fastest" moniker climbers this year. To see if your little bundle of joy made the top 10 list, scroll through above.
