Duchess Kate shows off her driving skills during visit to Jaguar factory

Updated

Duchess Kate is not your average royal ...

The 35-year-old royal, alongside husband Prince William, impressed the crowd with her driving skills by navigating some seriously tricky terrain while driving a Land Rover at Jaguar's Solihull manufacturing plant in Birmingham. The outing is the first stop on their West Midlands tour.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a monochromatic Goat coat with knee-high Russell & Bromley boots for the occasion. She previously wore the coat embellished with a classic ivory trim in 2014 during a trip to New York City when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte. However, according to DailyMail's Rebecca English, it seems as if Kate has altered the coat, which skimmed the thigh originally, by adding another panel to protect her modesty.

The mother of two accessorized her look with a small box clutch and a pair of yellow gold and pave diamond leaf motif drop earrings from her favorite designer Kiki McDonough.

The Duchess is currently pregnant with baby No. 3 and hasn't been afraid to rock looks she wore during her first two pregnancies. During a visit to the Hornsey Road Children's Center, she also wore another ivory-hued Goat coat dress that she wore when she was pregnant with Prince George.

After their visit to the manufacturing plant, Kate and William have several other planned visits, including meeting with schoolchildren from Topcliffe Primary School -- winners of the Jaguar Primary School Challenge and will see their wining model car race on a track.
