Melania Trump steals the show in tweed Alexander McQueen dress to meet Thailand's PM and first lady

Melania Trump stole the show in Alexander McQueen.

The 47-year-old, alongside President Trump, met Thailand's prime minister and first lady, Prayut Chan-o-cha and Madame Naraporn Chan-ocha, at the White House on Monday morning.

The first lady dazzled in a fit-and-flare tweed dress from the British fashion house that she paired with a pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos in a tangerine hue. The former model kept her makeup light, with a nude lip, and her brunette tresses in a blown out style.

If you've kept track of Melania's looks as first lady, then you've probably realized that she has an affinity for that fit and flare style. Monday's McQueen look is similar to ones she's worn in the past, including a cheery yellow Delpozo sundress she wore at the airport and a white Simone Rocha dress she wore on Easter.

Alexander McQueen has long been a favorite of another fashion influencer -- Duchess Kate. If you recall, the royal's wedding dress back in 2011 was designed by Sarah Burton, the brand's creative director. Unbeknownst to most, Kate also had a second wedding dress designed by Burton that she wore later in the day.
