NYFW: Michael Kors' Spring 2018 show will have you dreaming about the beaches of Malibu

Michael Kors took us to the beach with his Spring 2018 collection.

The American designer debuted the "it girl's" ultimate vacation wardrobe filled with flip flops, cashmere sweatshirts in a tie-dye pattern and linen.

A sun-kissed Carolyn Murphy opened the show -- pantless -- in one of Kors' tie-dye creations. The show transitioned with palm tree-patterned pieces in hues of breezy pastels. The print was imprinted on slip dresses and sarongs, as well as accent pieces that he paired with oversized blazers. No doubt that the print will have you dreaming of the sandy beaches of Malibu.

If colors aren't your thing, ensembles in neutral hues -- white, beige and black -- hit the runway. A white, belted linen dress was one of the standouts. From the Hamptons to Malibu, and even Santorini, the linen ensemble can easily be worn at any shindig in the warmer months.

Stars like Naomi Watts Nicole Kidman sat front row and look visibly astonished as models clad in Kors' ensembles walked by.

The show moved onto nighttime looks, with models like Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid hitting the runway in sexy, yet sophisticated looks that no doubt an A-list actress will be wearing during award show season.

Kendall dazzled in a black two-piece look featuring a sparkly sarong, while Bella hit the runway in a dress with a sky-high leg slit.

Kate Upton closed the show in an LBD of her own with an oversized sequined blazer draped over her shoulders.

Kors' Spring 2018 show was truly a star-studded affair. Catherine Zeta-Jones and her lookalike daughter Carys were spotted sitting next to Watts and Kidman. Model Thylane Blondeau (see below), who was dubbed the "most beautiful girl in the world" when she was 6, was also sitting front and center.
