CNN reports that if not controlled, emotional eating of any kind can lead to binge eating and excessive weight gain.

Psychologist and specialist in health and Rachel Goldman, told CNN: “When it comes to eating out of a stress or comfort, really there are other ways to cope with those problems.”

One way to solve the problem is to do another activity instead of eating or choose a healthier option if you are more likely to stress eat with junk food.
