Interim White House communications director Hope Hicks has a famous doppelgänger

Hope Hicks was thrusted into the spotlight this week after it was announced that she would serve as the interim White House communications director.

During the 2016 election, it was revealed that Hicks appeared on the cover of the first book of the popular "It Girl" series, an offshoot of the even more popular "Gossip Girl" series, starring Jenny Humphrey. (Check out the book here). And now, thanks to the internet, we have now found her famous doppelgänger -- Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's daughter.

Bee Shaffer, 30, bears a striking resemblance to Hicks. They look so alike that we're starting to think that they may have been seperated at birth. We think Wintour may have some explaining to do!

Take a look at a side-by-side comparison of the two:

From their luscious brunette locks to their to-die-for cheekbones, we seriously can't tell the two beauties apart.

Shaffer quickly broke her silence on the matter in a hilarious Instagram post.

The former “Late Night With Seth Meyers" producer posted a screenshot of the photo above with the caption, "There are fine people on both sides." Understandably, Hicks hasn't commented on the trending topic as she's probably too busy adjusting to her new position.
