Beauty in blue! Hillary Clinton steps out in a dress for wedding of billionaire friend's daughter

Hillary Clinton stepped out with husband, former President Bill Clinton, on Sunday to attend the wedding of Sophie Lasry, 24, the daughter of Avenue Capital Group founder Marc Lasry. The Clintons and Lasry are good friends -- and Lasry was also reportedly a top donor to Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign.

The wedding took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, and other notable attendees included Tiffany Trump, Huma Abedin, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez. "Real Housewives of New York" star Dorinda Medley was also in attendance, and she shared a snap of herself with the former first lady.

Now, while many eyes may have been on JLo's stunning cut-out gown (get a peek in the Instagram below), we couldn't help but take notice of Hillary's ensemble. Why? Because she was sporting a dress for the first time in months -- and she was rocking it! Get a closer look at the embellished blue number below (and see more photos here):

We all know Hil was famous for her power pantsuits during the 2016 election. In fact, the last time we can recall Clinton wearing a dress was in October of last year, when she opted for a fuchsia Ralph Lauren gown at the annual Al Smith Dinner -- so this naturally seemed like a momentous occasion to which we had to call attention.
