Woman replaced her family photos with dog replicas

We all love our pets -- but one woman was so enthralled she decided she'd rather see photos of her dog rather than that of her family.

21-year-old Marissa Hooper started replacing family photos with those of her 2-pound Chihuahua, Dixie. She shared the side-by-side comparisons on Twitter:

"I've been recreating family pictures with my dog and slowly replacing them around the house to see if my mom would notice," Hooper said. "She wasn't amused."

Hooper had replaced Dixie with her older sister's kindergarten photo; a photo of her grandmother; and her own graduation photo. She later said on Twitter she made Dixie's outfits from materials around the house:

She also shared a text exchange with her mother, where she tells Hooper she has to explain to company why there are photos of the Chihuahua everywhere.

Hooper's mother couldn't help but mention her skills, though. She said, "Her graduation picture came out better than yours."
