This wedding cost $6.3 million dollars --- and we've never seen anything like it

The average wedding costs a little more than $30,000, but that's pocket change to one family.

Just last week, Folarin Alakija married model Nazanin Ghaissarifa in a ceremony that was expected to cost over £5 million. To be specific, Brides gave the Alakija wedding a $6.3 million dollar price tag.

Folarin Alakija is the son of Folorunsho Alakija, who is listed as one of the richest African women in the world. According to Forbes, the Nigerian mogul is vice chair of Famfa Oil -- and with a worth over $1.68 billion dollars, it's fair to say that the Alakija wedding did not disappoint.

Take a look inside the wedding:

The wedding was held at the gorgeous Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England. Celebrity florist Jeff Leatham decorated the stunning castle with white roses, suspended arrangements and candles -- it was straight out of a fairytale.

According to Brides, the couple indulged in a floral 12-foot wedding cake designed by luxury wedding cake designer Elizabeth Solaru, from London's renowned Elizabeth's Cake Emporium. Guests were also treated to a five-course meal, dancing, fireworks, and performance by Robin Thicke.

It was fit for a princess.
