Ikea's new shopping bag is anything but blue

Ikea's Frakta shopping bag is so much more than just a bag. It's used for laundry and it's fashionable enough to be held next to an LV original.

However, the 99 cent bag that makes so many shoppers happy, just went yellow. For the re-design, the retail giant teamed up with Virgil Abloh's fashion line, Off-White.

Both sides referenced the bag's new structural design on social media.

In a statement, Ikea said they partnered with Abloh to "explore inspiring design for young people and their 'first home.'" The newly designed bag has side wings and the word "Sculpture" written on the front.

Alongside the classic Frakta's, the new bags will be available next year.
